Heartline Gatherings
A recurring gathering where everyone is welcome. Some parts stay consistent, others change — so there’s always something familiar and something new.
As a member you can either show up physically or by going on the website to let everyone know that you're still here! The Gatherings works as a symbolic heartbeat that repeats every month, just like a heartbeat - and our goal is to keep it beating!

When: Every month, switching between a fun coming together event, and a more serious and specific workshop kind of gathering.

Where: The goal is every municipality. Hopefully it will be held where the Hearts are (the members) as The Heartline spreads..

Duration: Around 2 hours
During the timeframe of a Heartline Gathering, everyone can invite a new person.
Heartline Hosts are people who volunteer to create new Heartline gatherings in other municipalities. There will be certain requirements and expectations before being able to do so.
Invitation System
Everyone joins by invitation.
You don’t have to bring someone to a Gathering to invite them — you just need to be face to face on the day of the gathering, maybe at a dinner or while watching a movie. It's up to you!
Standard invite:

The invited person scans their inviter’s QR code and is the able to create an account.
Future ideas:

Loyalty Invite: Locked to a friend’s personal information to an invitation. To activate it, they must show up at the next Gathering and scan another person's ACTIVATE QR.

SOS System: A way for people with no one to invite — or those outside who wish to join — to be paired with each other. People outside can fill in their information, this information will be visible to members on a map on the website. The members can make contact with a person who send the SOS and then they can meet up face to face, for a coffee or at a meeting. From there they can be invited and a new chain has been born.

Motivation & Progression
There will be many ways to see both personal and collective progress — reminders that each person’s impact matters. Here are some:

An illustration of something (has not been decided*) that gets filled with color as people join and when it is fully colored it mean the whole world has joined!

Tracking of: SOS calls answered, invitations, Gatherings attended, and more!
- Spreading map/ Heartline Community Tree: A global and a personal map/tree showing everyone you have invited as well as who they themselves have invited - to show your indirect effect.
For example: “If you invited person #643, who later invites #839, who goes on to host a new gathering in another municipality" — that's partly is thanks to you!
Utopia Reflection
To dream, imagine, and picture alternative ways the world could be better for everyone is essential. The Heartline can be an introduction and inspiration — a way to nurture seeds of great ideas.
The goal is to inspire people to:

Dream of “what-could-be”. Find more under "Utopia Thinking" on why it's important and how to get started on it!

Take action towards it. Read the page "Finding One's Place" to learn about the theory of what it means and how to make a difference that works for you!

Build utopias together. One of the gatherings will be a workshop focusing on practicing building together with other people!

Gather in small or big groups outside of The Heartline. One way to find people or cool projects -or share them- could be to join the discord channel!
The Heartline is a space to share visions of future worlds and personal dreams. This might happen during gatherings, in groups, with family and friends, or on the website.
